$15 Club Membership
USA Wrestling Card required ($30)

 

Schedule
Folkstyle Season (January-March) 
Practice on Wednesdays 6-7:30pm NPHS Wrestling Room
Sunday tournaments (optional)

Freestyle Season (April-May)
Practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays* 6-7pm NPHS Wrestling Room
Saturday tournaments (optional)
*Regional Training Center on Thursdays starting April 8th

Equipment
Mouthpiece and headgear (purchase your own)
Singlet (purchase your own or rent a Dragon singlet for $40 ($35 refunded when returned))
Shoes (purchase your own or keep your Club shoes for $35)

Volunteers
The Dragon Wrestling Club is an all-volunteer organization.  All Club families are expected to volunteer to support the Club’s efforts.

The Dragon Wrestling Club is preparing for a terrific year.  There are several activities where we need volunteers.  If you are interested in discussing a particular opportunity, please contact John Begovich (jbegovich@yahoo.com) or Michelle Niemier (michelleniemier@yahoo.com).  

 Dragon Wrestling Club Volunteer Opportunities

 NPHS Athletic Liaison: 

     1    Identify 2 concession stand volunteers/sports season (fall, winter, spring)  Thanks Vette Jennings!

     2    Coordinate tailgating activities including homecoming booth  Thanks John Begovich & Jim Robinson!

     3    Upon completion, share recommendations with Board

     4    Provide information to webmaster

 Merchandise Team Leader:  Thanks Travis Null!

     1    Identify HS Merchandise Coordinator

     2    Identify MS Merchandise Coordinator

     3    Identify Club Merchandise Coordinator

     4    Team Leader and Coordinators determine additional apparel needs

     5    Provide information to webmaster

McDonald’s Fundraiser Coordinator:

      1   Help promote event in autumn and spring

 Middle School Website Team Member:  Thanks Travis & Barbara Anderson!

      1  Collect or directly update website information

      2  Recruit photos to be sent to webmaster or to be directly updated by coordinator

High School Website Team Member:

      1  Collect or directly update website information

       2  Recruit photos to be sent to webmaster or to be directly updated by coordinator

Membership Chair:

      1    Coordinate the recruitment and collection of memberships/USAW cards

      2    Develop new membership brochure/form

      3    Identify HS membership coordinator

      4    Identify MS membership coordinator

      5    Identify SHEL/Elementary membership coordinator Thanks Melody Ulrey!

      6    Provide information to webmaster

      7    Upon completion, share recommendations with Board
